Pros
Works exactly as described and very economical. Serves its purpose well. Molded base helps the pods stand well.
The material is durable and is easy to clean, use and store. Easy to dump the egg onto the plate. They are super easy to use.
Microwave poachers always overcook unevenly. These are for people like myself that could not make a pretty poached egg, these are pretty every time. Perfectly soft poaches in 6 minutes.
Cons
A total gimmick, boiling water always ends up in the cup and creates foam. The white of the egg never firms up before the yolk becomes solid.

When the water comes to a rolling boil i place the egg poacher in the pot then cover it for 5 min
