The instruction that came with the product advises to use a nonstick spray. Another trick i use is to strain the egg in a tea strainer.

Works as advertised. Time consuming. In the meantime, these little things really work.

The edges are sharper than one would think! These stainless rings keep the egg inside the ring much better making for a thicker egg.

Haven't mastered the use of these. Bottom surface is not even and the egg leaks. The poached egg sticks around.
