You can run the device without the battery in place as long as it is plugged into a usb port or a charger as mentioned earlier

I must apologise yesterday i sent a report saying i was not happy that my delivery was missing the rechargeable battery after moving my chair to clean under it there was the battery hidden it must have fallen out when i opened the box

The safety grilles on all sides are small enough to prevent little children from poking their fingers through although such a device should obviously be kept out of reach of children

Mine didnt light up with the blue light as in the description but when the power selection button is pressed when on full power the fan switches off and a small torch light switches on at the side of the fan

The onoff switch alongside the power selector button switches the torch off
