Pros

The box includes 2 needle leads with screw-on posts which can be used to make contact in a round electrical plug. The probes are nice, but i find the screw on the banana plug adapters a bit unreliable.

This meter is beyond accurate and i found it easy and intuitive to use. The only thing missing in my opinion is duty cycle measurement.

Eevblog is a website and forum run by dave jones, an australian electronics engineer. Dave also participates in a weekly podcast called the amp hour. Manual is available online so nbd. Youtube has answers to all your questions. Search under google.

Bm235 is perfect for a bench with limited space and feels great in your hand. First is the lcd viewing angle. Also has backlight for people who need to work in dimly lit areas.

All the features, from millivolts to resistance to auto-range to capacitance are all there. Even closer than average for capacitance. Voltage on the other hand works quickly and is very accurate even in ua and ma modes.

Cons

It is past its 12 months warranty. All other measurements are non-functional.

This is a great meter at a good price

Best meter in this price range for sure

Both of those meters are around 200

I realize the instruction manual is on line but it certainly couldnt cost much to include a summary of its functions

I contacted them and found out a shipment was soon on the way to amazon so i jumped on it

Im perfectly fine with saving trees and easyopen packaging so this is all great

My other small issue is that it came in a plain white box with absolutely no printed material or identifying markings

An excellent quality product that can be a competitive competitor for the fluke brand

Has all options needed that are available for hundreds more for a similar specd meter

This is not a match to a fluke 115 but rather this is the combination of the fluke 116 and fluke 117

Compare prices with this and other quality dmms and youll find that this is a crazy value
