It takes a while to get all the spikes bolted onto the shoes but it’s easy enough to do
Competitiveness
Im using them for grass seed but i suspect theyd work just as well for scatterable wild flowers etc

The base is very solid measuring 290 x 130 x 5mm the 13 spikes per foot are 45mm in length though the washer and nut assembly do protrude around 5mm from the base

In use they can be a bit tricky to wear unless you are in the garden when you put them on i brought a chair from the patio sat on that in the middle of the garden then used it as my focal point as i walked around it gradually radiating out until i hit the edges then walking back to remove them

I am happy with the result in terms of being able to accomplish the aeration process if thinking they are a little expensive for what they accomplish but that is probably me having previously provided a diy solution

The instructions don’t show you how to attach the pins and washers so i needed to refer to the item image to see how to do this

I found they worked way better than i was expecting very easy to walk in and the spikes slid into the ground easily even though it hadnt rained for a few days
