The mechanic says that the adapter might not be suitable for my car. If it gets slightly bumped, the kids' movie shuts off. Very irritating on long car rides to visit family.

After a few months i noticed that the adapter that came with the panasonic was fraying near the voltage plug so i decided to start shopping for a new plug
