This works very well once up and running but wifi doesnt work out of the box with raspberry pi bluetooth does

Youll need to compile a module and firmware which isnt taxing and edimax provides instructions online just dont bother with the bluetooth instructions

Worked out of the box turned out that the antique chipset of the builtin wifi card isnt supported
