It does heat up the room just a little if when i first started it up because it had to run continuously to remove the moisture but now i have it set on 60 so it shuts off occasionally

Its in our basementi wouldnt want it in our living area even on the lowest setting

It is easy to operate and can be set to run continuously or automatically like a thermostat on an air conditioner turning it off and on
