Pros
Easy to put together, and very durable. It is very sturdy and grownup looking.
This safe is much larger than i originally thought but does meet the dimensional specs. It might be worthwhile to prevent a * and grab sort of robbery while we are out of the room for awhile.
This under the bed safe is a very nice balance between simplicity, ease of use, safety, and cost. It can be chained to your bedframe with the equipment provided. The cable lock is great to latch the box to the bed frame to prevent walk off of the box.... Read More
College students bring so many pricey items to college and they need a secure place to store them. Bought this for my son's dorm room. But for bedroom, sr citizen, kids room, these are perfect.
This is a sturdy portable safe for valuables and important papers. It holds all the important papers that you may need and has a pull cord for easy transport. Can be hidden under a table or work desk if theft is a problem.
Cons
If you defeat either of the two plastic-hinge-pins, the cover comes off. You can keep honest people honest for 1/3 the price with a locking storage box and padlocks.

Something heavier and less mobile would be overkill as long as you have reasonably trustworthy roommates

I’m sure if someone had a few minutes a few tools and could make as much noise as they wanted they could easily get into this box

In hindsight i wish i would have taken the time to read the dimensions of this safe as i would have opted for something bigger

The lid folds back to open and the locking mechanism is at the far end of the box which makes me wonder if someone might be able to pry it in the middle just enough to get a hand inside
