It even comes with the magnet to easily clean it with however after just 2 wks mine still is not dirty yet
I believe the secret is the green algae ball that comes with the eco sphere

We kept the original packaging for if and when the shrimp need to be moved to another place

If the algae starts dieing off i move the sphere to a brighter spot never direct light when the algae ball starts growing again i clean the glass and move it to another spot that is not so bright it can cause algae on the glass

Ups delivered but the handler was not really being careful with the box so if i had not been home im not sure any shrimps would have survived

The paper work says the shrimps are only supposed to last 2 to 3 years but the last time i had one of these eco sphere 1 shrimp lasted over 15 years until the sphere fell from a table due to an earthquake
