All I can say is WOW! This reel blew me away as soon as I opened the box and got my first glimpse of this beauty. I use my left hand to retrieve and when I took the reel out it was set up for the right hand retrieve. No problem, just switch the handle to the other side. OK. That was when I noticed that most reels I own under $150 have a bit of play with the shaft on the handle through the reel and this one had none which gave me my first sign of a precision build. Next thing I checked it comes with a CARBON FIBER DRAG system! Yeah that's right a CARBON FIBER drag for under $60. It is a 3 piece carbon washer stacked between 4 metal washers. I spun the handle and it was smooth like butter, no wobble, shake or noise. Next was the free spool, that was smooth as well. So now I start to check for the nifty details that we all look for in reels. I see some cut outs around the handle skirt not to noticeable in the pictures but very nice. The EVA grip is very comfy as well and has a sleek design to it that fits in my fingers perfectly. The line holder tab on the spool was metal not plastic. The spare spool is what looks like a graphite replica of the main one just not as shiny. This was supposed to have a carbon fiber drag with it as well but mine came with orange/red oiled felt washers. I am currently working to figure if this was a mistake or the way it is. I will update once I know. I was impressed with it so I showed a few fellow anglers and they will be ordering one or more for themselves. On the 2000 It says it has 5.3:1 gear ratio so its slightly faster than most other competitively priced reels which is another thing I was looking for too. On the box it says it holds 170yd of 9lb, 120yd of 11lb, 90yd of 15lb line. It also has instant anti reverse so no 1/8 turn crap. I bought this over an Abu reel and for only looking at it and not fishing it yet I am happy with my decision. I will be testing this out this Sunday and will update accordingly. This is a rock solid reel at first impression and I believe it will stand up to some big fish. Ecooda, I think YOU NAILED IT! Eposeidon got me my reel in only 2 days with free shipping. If this pans out good this weekend ill be getting more for my other rods and a custom one I am getting from Angry Worm Fishing.  Read Less

  I received this reel from Epoisedon, and I am very impressed! It has great features, including a Wonder Dome spool, triple carbon fiber drag washers, and a stainless steel main shaft. The baitrunner is built with a sturdy, easy-to-use structure, and I appreciate the anti-glare finish. It has smooth reeling action and works like it should.
