So it was quite a surprise that when i replaced my cartridges and the magenta is broken and this item is no longer returnable

Each one is wrapped in bubble packing and plastic barrier

Once you unwrap you simply remove the top piece of plastic pull the black paper that says pull and pull the orange tab to pull the inner protective strip out and install
