The drain itself leaked and it took me two weeks on and off to figure out why the overflow is milled into the drain in such a way as water weeps down the threads and leaks as the sink drains the sink came with a lot of teflon tape and it eventually dawned on me that the manufacturer wanted me to tape up the threads so that the drain wouldn’t weep water flows down the threads and leaks onto the bottom using the included teflon tape to seal the brass nut under the sink was an easy solution i’m embarrassed to say that it didn’t occur to me to tape the drain sooner
