Pros & Cons
Pros
If it burps i push the choke in and crank it, and it will start. I let it warm up at idle, and continued running it varying the rpm's. When cold always starts 3rd pull of the rope until warm.
It is worth the extra money over the cheaper chainsaws you can get at walmart or sears. This is and excellent saw and dont let all those negative reviews out there sway you.
Echo mix/oil is some of the very best on the market (from a lubricating perspective) it's imperative to use at least 89 octane fuel for the mix. This allows the rotating assembly and the top end to get adequate lubrication.
It loosens up pretty fast. Little or no vibration so its comfortable to use. It isn't prone to peeling like the foamy ones are.
Very good weight and balance for occasional tree cutting and trimming. While the specs seem to show only a pound or so difference, it really seems like more than that. The regulations required for small engines make the exhaust all quiet, and clean.
Cons
When it does start, it runs rougher than i remember originally. The chain break is barely large enough to fit around the clutch. Pumped the primer bulb until full + 2 pumps.
