However i bought the right size and they are brilliant very strong easy to use you just peel off the backing and press the sticky surface onto the ceiling or wall stick the other to the smoke alarm leave for 24 hours and then put the alarm up

Used to keep my travel kettle fixed to the worktop whilst driving and has done a great job not once has it come unattached
