You have to clean your finger with alcohol as per instructions clean the first drop of blood get enough blood out of your finger and make sure that you touch the blood only on the side of the strip where the arrow is pointing
I have only used for uric acid this is one of the only reasonably priced options i found at the time of purchase
Perfectly happy with it quality kit everything worked
At one point i suspected my strips were bad bc of ua levels but tested other people and they were lownormal
