Pros
It is just the same as a key start but remotely locating the ignition. I installed this on my golf cart since it is older and the key is fairly common.
I'm very proficient with wiring. It’s the easiest installation ever just figured out the wires color. There's a great youtube video specifically for ~2000s ford ranger on where all the wires go.
Cons
If this condition persists, then this product is a liability. Made screeching noises. Avoid this, avoid headaches.

Product work great got it today and installed it instructions and youtube helped a lot
This push button start only required splicing a few wires and with the fob there is no loss of security
Never had that issue with the key
But that has to do more with the car than the device

I think me not being a techi made it difficult but the price was worth the frustration

I will say i have concerns about the company aelling the item it took far too long for them to respond to my queries for a new hardcopy of the instructions via email and the phone number they have listed in product packaging and on amazon appears to be a fake number

Something to keep in mind however is the brown wire

As another reviewer pointed out the module will drop the 12v connection on the brown wire while it cranks

My tundra as a result wouldnt start as it requires 12v to be present on both ignition wires
