Pros
Lb boxes inside the somewhat unwieldy 50 lb box. Way more than enough time to add kindling and work up in fuel size. I make a stack of 4 or 5 and they get my oak logs going real quick.
Cons
Very disappointing, will be returning this and try my luck by repurchasing. Some pieces of wood are good, but most are duds.
Looks like someone just shoveled a bunch of leftover scrap into the box to make the weight heavier. Advertised as 25 pounds. After going through the nicely sized sticks at the top of the box i got down to the bottom 30% and this is what i found.
The color, scent and density are all wrong. Do not stay lit if there is even a slight breeze. The scent is irrelevant. This fatwood burns with an awful thick black smoke.
