Pros
Clean, enhance, and equalizer modules are straightfoward and versatile. The lp has lots of hiss and pops. Not to worry, this is a great product that actually cuts on the hissing sound and actually clears up the noise.
There is a 16 page getting started guide, but the software is fairly intuitive. Easy to install and use. Instructions are clear. One minor problem.
Cons
Customer service for corel products and roxio are non-existent unless you buy the service on top of the * product. This isn't the first roxio program i've seen with compatibility issues.
Unable to playback recording or set up proper format. When i do that it seems to think that the usb port is a speaker because i can hear the pc noises through a headphone attached to the roxio audio capture box. Software doesn't seem to have any recog... Read More
This gadget is way too complicated to use. I am frightened to try incase something might blow. No helpful information. Don't buy this product.

I am writing this one because of the rather negative feedback i read about the product before i bought the product
My suggestion is to get all the lps you want transferred done at once then uninstall the product

Thats a lot of recording punch for a very modest price

I find that if i have a choice a roxio product will out perform the competition
I am currently recording a clicky lp now

The instructions were not very good but my stepson is a computor tech and figured out what we needed to do to make it work

I preferred to export these conversion projects to a stand alone 3 terabyte capacity seagate external hard drive so file size is a nonissue

The getting started guide does provide the needed information to get you started with the basics but using all the featurestools with the included documentation takes some experimentation and much time which one would not need to do if the documentation was adequate

For example although they provide information on the denoiser tool they do not provide the detailed information to really useunderstand it

If they included files which were designed to illustrate the effects of the featurestools included that would be a big help in usingunderstanding all the featurestools maybe they will read this review and do that
