Pros

Great product. Couldn't be much simpler. My old heat tape was easy heat and it lasted 20 years.

Cons

Pipes froze and are still freezing. Poor warranty on product. Spent 4 hrs installing this product an first freeze of the season pipes froze.

There were bare wires hanging about with no insulation. I'm not sure if mine was defective or not. The directions state these type installations could be a fire hazard.
