I was concerned about not having a way to secure it due to the fact it says bedframe required but that is not an issue with our set up and works fine just standing in place

Only negative thing is the assembly once i secured the legs to the headboard with the connector i had to then remove all 8 bolts and the connector to get to the hole to secure the center bolt into each wing
