Pros

This is a great value and for a first time steamer and it couldn't have worked better. Used it to steam a couple sets of canoe ribs & keel stems andamp; such.

The kit includes everything you need to set up your system. Just drill a hole for the fitting that connects the steam hose to the box. Just twist the connector onto grey inner tube.

Cons

There is no safety shut off, and there is a very real fire hazard if allowed to run low on water. There is another brand of this model marketed for bending wood, but it is the same unit just rebadged. I might be able to come up with something from the... Read More

Shorten the hose as much as possible. Unfortunately the steam then condenses and drips down all over the area where the cord plugs into the body.
