Flow rate is very good. Keeps plant debris from getting pulled in & coating the bio media.
Cons
Water leaks out from top of the filter, which then leaks water down its motor and chord to your electric socket. We have to unplug it every night or else the house cant sleep.

Im aware of the tiny rumble of its motor because im autistic and thus cursed with an awareness of all things but filling the water up to the fall at least eliminated the sound of the water itself falling for the most part
