    Negative side of these lamps is if one of the led in a group fails opens or shorts the entire row will not light making the lamp not usable anymore

    My mom and i tried it in a directional light in our stairwell and as you may have guessed from the shape of the bulb it didnt work all that well

    We wrapped it in an aluminum foil cone to try and make it work better and it helped but it wasnt as good as the directional bulbs that were already in use

    Edit i got one of these in which several strips of leds were broken
