Can't imagine it getting broken for this application unless you were using an impact style driver or something like that or the threads are crossed.

I used a 1/2 drill bit to ream out the holes, but it was slightly too small for the inserts i used.

Once the e-z loks were flush with the outside edge of the legs, they wouldn't go any deeper.

Don't try putting them in with a screw driver; you'll just get frustrated and they won't go in straight.

Literally only took minutes to bore/ream the holes out and put two inserts in each leg that needed a repair.
