Hand grips fit in the hands nicely and the dial is easily adjustable. They fit nicely in the storage compartment in my guitar case which allows me to use them to loosen up my fingers.

You do that by twisting a knob that changes the amount of tension on the spring. This is a plain spring without dampers, which makes opening your fist a bit more strenuous. The setting is adjustable for a non-strength training use.
