The resistors have been assimilated into my many arduino and raspberry pi projects. They are great at resisting the things that resistors resist.

I got a 2001 buick century with stupid auto headlights which maybe would not have been so bad if gm had set them up through the bcm to sense when the car actually started then trigger the auto lights but no the dang things come on the instant the ignition switch goes to on run position before you even have the chance to start car and whats up with the interior light turning on as soon as key is removed hey gm you put a switch in car for the light if want it on i will turn the little knob to turn it on

This unit is a black box approximately 6 square and 112 thick with 4 connectors entering one end

The trim panel does not have to be removed completely to get in far enough to work

Pull out a couple of the panel retainers and work the left end down and back until you have working room

Those panel retaining fasteners are a push in christmas tree type and can be difficult to remove
