Pros

Easy to install, a little tricky getting in the 1st wire, then you see how it is done. Once you do, you'll be pleased with how it integrates so will with the cord you're using.

Easy to install. Easy to assemble. Installation is a bit more difficult than the snap in type.

Cons

It's too small to use with 16 awg lamp cord. It's unclear how the wire strain relief * at each end are supposed to work. This item is in every respect a flimsy pos made from the cheapest materials and methods.

The switch is very sturdy compared with the rotary type

The switch sent with the fixtures was not removable and i wanted to shorten the cord

Normally with these switches one wire stays solid and the other wire is open and closed with the switch
