The tag is slim and doesn't add much interference in my pocket with my key chain. Great for tagging anything with a key loop - i use mine with my gym bag. Right priced insurance against loss of expensive car key/fob.

I suppose you could get any old tag and write your phone number on it and it would probably work just as well but the gps function is cool in case someone takes your keys and logs in out of curiosity with no intention of returning
