Obviously you are relying on the integrity of a stranger who may find you lost item and choose to scan the dynotag and then make the effort to contact the owner

But of course dynotag needs to make some money to cover the cost of building and maintaining their lostandfound website which is the real benefit around these tags

They are nice to have because they add a good sense of security for what ever you put them on and you can editupdate them as often as you want ifwhen you want to switch the item they are attached to
