Pros

There was some noticeable improvement with the sound bleed. There was also a slight improvement in sound quality in the family room. It's crispy clean now and i have bass. They do a great job of reducing the sound leakage out the back of the speaker.
Heavy gauged rubber with quailty installation within covering all sides and top. That made marking the cutout on the dynamat easier for me.
Speakers have mounting arms that swing out and clamp to the sheet rock. One thing i should have planned for is to make sure speaker placement was in the middle of the bay.
Cons
The sound carries loudly into the floor above and also to our 3rd floor bedroom through the ventilation. Had to return one as there was a pipe in the way of one.

Packaging/appearance
I suggest making a cardboard circle template of your existing speaker hole that made marking the cutout on the dynamat easier for me

I didnt bother gluing the boxes in as i figured those clamps would hold the bottom flange tight and keep the box from moving

But in the room these boxes made the speaker sound soild and full no vibrations from duck work can be heard or noticed

They easily compete with the floor speakers in sound quality

It does not eliminate the sound but in my setup it reduced by over 10db in the room above the ceiling speakers
