This is with my iphone, so absolute values are iffy. It is much quieter and the heat level seems to be lower as well. Muffled the idle.

Actual dimensions are 30 x 52 not 32 x 54 as advertised. This product *.

This material is too lightweight to do much good at all. Far too small for the underside of a car hood. The product itself *- it isnt sticky enough to bond to hood.

If a metal panel is reverberating engine vibration, the only abatement is to damp the resonance of the panel. The only way to muffle acoustic noise is to cover surrounding surfaces with (preferably porous) multi-directional material.
