Btw if you apply for an amazon store card or an amazon rewards visa card make sure you put a current phone number that you can be reached at on your application

They will call you guaranteed on initial orders placed after being approved for a credit line and if you call back from a number not listed on the application they wont be able to release any hold on your card until you send them physical verification items confirming your current address id and phone number either in person or sent by surface mail

They will not take this information over the phone if you cannot be reached at the number you put on your application and they will call you at that number before any hold will be released
