First when i have two drives in it both mounted on my mac and then eject dismount one of the volumes and pull the drive out it momentarily disconnects the other drive

They could have easily stamped a white arrow onto both side of the black plastic case to make this clear but they didnt

To be aware of there is only one cable from the dock to the pc so if you are accessing both drives at the same time you will do it at half the speed for each drive but the total bandwidth will be at usb 3
