My husband and i have had around galaxy s5’s for a while now and eventually the dust plug covers broke from the hinge

The part that plugs the charger holes and the cover itself came unglued and the plug was stuck in the holes

It was an easy fit and i just popped it out with my nail

Place the new dust plug cover in place place the plastic piece back over the top of it either the one that was already there or one of the two new ones that are included in this set put the screw back in and put the phone cover back on

This was seriously one of the simplest phone fixes ive ever done

Once i had the new dust plug cover properly installed it functioned exactly as the original had and matched the silver tone of the edge of my phone perfectly

That being said i have not tested the waterproof function of the phone now that i have replaced the dust plug cover im simply not brave enough to toss my phone into some water to test it
