I was anxious that my glass desktop would be damaged by the metal mount however these fears were unfounded as the clamp is supplied with an adhesive pad that separates the clamp from the glass

It manages to hold a pretty heavy 11kg monitor but just barely

Any adjustment requires an alan key so you cant really adjust on the fly

A good unit but quite difficult to tighten all the fittings to keep the monitor firmly in place
