Pros
Kettle is very sturdy and not overly heavy. Great value for money at a 'lightning sale' price. Very sturdy kettle.
With 3kw at hand, the kettle boils quite fast. It's all down to the way water heats up and boils. Quick to boil and quiet except when filled to maximum.
Cons
Keep warm button keeps lighting up but boil function doesn't light up. Only way to get it to work is to lift it off the base, hold the on button down and keep it pressed. Ended up having to boil water on the hob to get a hot cup of tea.
Flip lid is tacky and cheap. The pouring spout leaks every time i pour from it. The lid no longer opens so the filter cannot be changed.
The temperature controls are too fiddly. They either boil off or they balance better as a result of the first proper boil. This kettle is total rubbish.

Very good kettle too much packaging though
Plastic ones are quieter but you get the risk of unwanted chemicals leaching from the plastics
Competitiveness
Took a risk and went for a referb as it said it still came straight from manufacturer was £20 cheaper
Overall i must say that its a great performer for the price

We use the kettle fat too much mainly for coffee but all kettles weve had tend to overboil wasting electricity and creating excessive steam

It arrived within 2 days of ordering and looked brand new accept it had some damage to the kettle handle where a piece of plastic was broken off and some damage to the closure mechanism of the lid

Some have complained about the noise but with a fully stainless steel construction and 3kw this is probably unavoidable
