Maybe the description wasnt correct when another reviewer commented how these letters were the light ie standard version of the gothic font but based on the item description i wasnt expecting gothic bold at all

Complementary characters have been placed next to each other based on shape so the letter l might be found next to the numeral 1

Not to confuse anyone but yes the adhesive is only on the backside of each character

I found that if you are careful and depending on the surface being applied to the sticker can be repositioned if the user has a firm grip on the sticker and most of the sticker has not been applied
