The only problem i had with the install was when i updated the app for some reason i had duplicates of some of my devices

Just two blade connectors to push on plug in the usb configure the smartlife app pair the remote control sync the app to google

Note that when connected either the durablow or the manual switch can turn the fireplace on or both for that matter although i cannot imagine why you would want to do that both must be turned off to turn off the fireplace as they are connected in parallel
