Quality

Ive never had problems with the dunlop system and have used them on numerous guitars

Works for an easier grab with the fingers and space for as guitar cable

For all our other stuff were preferring to go with the original pattern like these

A trip to the hardware store for a compatible screw with the correct length and head would likely fix it

Packaging/appearance

Once that small annoyance was out of the way they screwed in no problem

Competitiveness

Compared to schallers these dont make any clicky noises when you move around a big plus in my ocd book

If the screw is too long it will be difficult to find an alternative

So if the screw is longer than your stock screw you likely wont be able to buy a smaller screw at a hardware store as the head wont fit down into the button

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

I decided to just use the original screws so it would fit but the screw head was not compatible

I just wont work directly from the box on an esp ltd bass

I didnt even use a power drill

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

I used the horseshoe type strap lock for years multiple basses and while it worked fine it was always sticky with the release action

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

It also seemed like the top horn lock was always loose

Hard to imagine not having these installed now
