Pros
Female end of this qd works with a male 1/2 npt qd. Quick disconnects are stainless so they don't rust.
Cons
This unit has the same issue where the collar locks up right out of the box. Duda ght connects have given me more grief than all the others. Also had one item jam and could not be used.

Great product works very well in below freezing conditions compared to the plastic quick disconnects
The female ends appear to work fine with the typical home brewing stainless steel quick disconnects
The stainless steel idea is great but these are not fully given the tests they should in the quality control department at the factory

This item would have gotten 5 stars except i cut my finger on the threads as i was trying to turn and separate the two components of this unit apart

You have to pull the collar back

Theres a washer or rubber bushing inside the female end which nearly prevents the male end from going in all the way

I have since put the male end on my drill using a drilling jig in order to spin a tiny bit more off the corner of the male end

You may be able to get them to work with some food grade lubricant but i did not test this
