The dualsense edge controller delivers an pretty good gaming experience. My personal favorite is the trigger range and 2 extra mappable * under the controller. The precision is there for me.

My controller that came with the console started getting stick drift and after doing some ballpark math i realized that i probably spent 800 on ps4 replacement controllers so hoping that this investment is a money saver in the long run

Of course not every ps4 controller died to the dreaded drift some actually had the buttons wear out and i started frankensteining the varying components from multiple controllers together

Like at one point i had the buttons from one that had screwed up shoulder triggers and the sticks from another that wouldnt charge because the usb port was mucked up pulled out to fix one with a good portbattery and shoulder triggers when the buttons went mushy and the stick started drifting

I do distinctly enjoy that all of the screws holding the ps5 controllers even the normal ones are covered up and wont be exposed to sweat

Human skin oils and sweat are basically the most damaging thing besides literal acids or actual fire for practically anything and ive had far too many ps3ps4 controllers be irreparable because when i went to pull the screws out they just desintegrated
