I purchased this camera just over a month ago to replace another 480tvl camera

So far it has held up to the elements great and the picture quality has not changed since i first installed it

Id say if you do not have any outside lighting the night vision only works about 10 feet out and you can not see much detail

The 700tvl is not a whole lot better than 480tvl so do not expect a huge difference in picture quality

I do have some other 800tvl cameras which do produce a clearer and sharper image but this camera is definitely a small step up from the standard 480tvl cameras
