Pros
Perfect for mounting my gopro on top of my dslr. Allows me the flexibility to use a gopro on a tripod or light stand. Great for hooking up my gopro to my camera.
Don't know what other people are complaining about. Fits great. Feels sturdy. Very useful. I have a hard time finding some use for it, but it is pretty handy.
Cons
Impossible to fasten the screw with a gopro actually mounted. Broke immediately on first installation. Probably ok for above water use. Not suitable for diving.

One thing to think about the sound of the focusing and shutter are transmitted through the adapter into the frame of the gopro and are picked up by the microphone to the point that they are unnaturally loud

I should of read the entire description before i purchased because i was surprised it included a tripod mount as well

Problem is that the light mount is a typical cold shoe and the light features a normal gopro style two blade mount

I throw this bad boy on top of my film camera or dslr and shoot away
