Pros
This mat works as expected. It is a very good looking, fine quality placemat with a no skid underside. My cats loves this mat!
These are perfect and the artwork is awesome. Very cute psychedelic design. Vibrant colors and has some absorbency for spills.
Absorbency is incredible, and washing is a breeze. Easy to clean, very soft velvety surface on the top.
One of my cats is missing a lot of teeth, so he is a sloppy eater. Got to put underneath my cat's gravity waterer. This is probably better for her water dish since it appears to be absorbent.
Cons
I agree with those who said the mat is too thin to use for all but the neatest of dogs. It is very fragile, but the design is pretty. It's very cheaply made.

I can easily shake the bits of food off these or throw them in the wash if they get too messy

You can dry them on delicate but airdrying them is a safer bet and they do dry quickly
