They look like they wouldn't absorb anything, kinda thin, but they really do absorb the water from the dog bowls. For my fur baby. This is a gift and both kitties are taking turns sitting on the mat!

The quality is on par with something you would get for a buck at the dollar store. The material is very thin as well. Also came folded in quarters.

Pink part looks like a neon orange, dark grey part looks more like a dark dark brown, and green looks like brownish green baby poop. The colors look nothing like the picture. The quality of this item is terrible.
