Without being a story spoiler i will say there were a couple plot developments which i did not think realistic which to me robbed some credibility resulting in a 4 out of 5 star rating

But overall the depiction of a society going feral after 3 days without water and images of the resulting chaos and unraveling of society were chilling and thought provoking

This book is clearly geared for teens which were the main first person voices adults were at the outskirts of the story
