If it's durable, it's the best beater i've tried. The maple low boy beater takes first for me. Twice the price of this so this is still best bang for buck.
Cons
Rubber part is too hard. When it strikes the head, it makes a bap sound with less tone.

With the weights you need to tighten them down and make sure they are secure
I like a good thumpin kick and this is a nice beater with the adjustable weight and round 360 degree felt
They are the quality i would expect from dw
I think any drummer will enjoy using at least one of the quality beater surfaces if not all three

Well dw stuff is as good as it gets but price is always up there too

Shipping was fast and arrived in perfect condition
These beaters allowed me to get the fast and solid feel of the old pedal back

What isnt covered on the options is that the beaters come with an allen and on top of the beater cam you can tighten the cam to the angle that gives you max contact instead of each stroke being selfadjusting as advertised

Id recommend adding something at the bottom side after tightening them into place underneath in case they slide to they dont come all the way out

Not stated in description or reviews is that you can lock the head into place with the included allen wrench if you are not a fan of the selfadjusting beater design

Not sure if the locked adjustment will hold under a repeated heavy foot without loosening but it feels so good unlocked it shouldnt matter

Only downfall is the slight noise made from the pivoting beater head

With all 4 weights on it feels like you’ll punch a hole through the head take them off and it barely registers under your foot
