When the clothes came out there was no cloying flowery smell nor anything that spelled laundry

There wasnt any of that residual detergent left on clothes especially the darks that is annoying because the clothes have to be rewashed

With many other detergents i had to add calgon in order to soften the water otherwise the soap would get used up without cleaning the laundry

Not so with dropps its plenty sudsy on its own and adding calgon actually caused too many suds my frontloading he washer started leaking suds

Even with just 1 packet and no other additives i find that i have to run extra rinse cycles as not all of the suds rinse out on a normal wash cycle
