Pros

This is the only bird feeder that is totally squirrel proof. The first was mauled by bears and raccoons. I love this ant moat.

I am very disappointed with the seller who had this problem brought to their attention by other folks. I feel sorry for this bad review and perhaps i received a defected one.

I was too lazy to follow-up.

The dome is not stable and can easily slam down on any little bird that tries to feed from it. The dome isn't much wider than the tray below it, so if you move the dome up to make space the seed tray gets rained on.

The plastic is far too brittle and thin. There was no threads to hold the * mechanism in place. The one i gave as a gift has the suction cup already ripped, making it useless.

    Simply find a short length of tubing with a 38 to 12 inch inner diameter slide it over the rod and cut to length

    Mealworms are not cheap and i was not interested in feeding starlings
